What is crépey skin?
Think of the crépe paper streamers often associated with birthday parties – it’s thin, wrinkly, crinkly and rough. That same textured, rough appearance happens to our skin as it ages and loses the plumpness, firmness and elasticity of youth.
Why is my skin so crépey?
Crépey skin can occur as a result of aging, a lack of moisture, loss of collagen and elastin in our skin. Excessive weight loss, sun damage or damaging environmental factors can also affect the skin.
How do you get rid of crépey skin?
Avoiding the sun, using a good moisturizer, staying hydrated and being aware of the ingredients in the body care products you use are all helpful habits to improve the look of crépey skin.
How do I get rid of crépey skin on my body naturally?
Exfoliating and moisturizing with creams made for your skin type can help naturally diminish crépey skin. Staying hydrated, avoiding the sun and using products that visibly “plump” the skin are all ways to help smooth skin. The Body Firm features products that zero in on all your age give-away zones to help visibly restore skin so it looks smoother and firmer.
What oils are good for crépey skin?
- Olive Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Grapeseed Oil
- Jojoba oil
- Pomegranate seed oil
- Frankincense oil
- Lavender oil
- Rosehip oil
What is the best type of product to use for crépey skin?
Daily gentle exfoliation combined with a hydration-rich, nourishing treatment is the best line of defense against crépey skin, as well as staying out of the sun. As your skin ages, you need more than a regular body lotion. Look for treatments rich in hydrating butters and oils. Regular exfoliation is also key, especially exfoliants that use alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids as active ingredients.
How do you treat crépey skin?
Use Crépe Erase® 2-Step Body Kit or the Crépe Erase® Age-Defying Body & Face Kit which target age-giveaway zones, including the neck and chest, arms, knees and legs, to restore skin to a smoother, firmer texture.
2-Step Body Kit:
- Body Refining Exfoliant
- Body Repair Treatment
Age-Defying Body & Face Kit:

- Plump & Firm Facial Treatment

Where Can I Find the List of Ingredients?
You can find a list of Product Ingredients here.
How long before I see results?
Even though it may seem like your crépey skin appeared overnight, it took years to get that way. Results vary per individual when using The Body Firm, so be patient and allow the product time to take effect. You may see instant results, or it may take up to 60 days. The Body Firm users usually experience skin that looks firmer, smoother and younger within the first 30 days of use. Either way, you'll see the results just keep getting better.
Is there sunscreen in any of the products?
No, not currently. We highly recommend protecting your skin with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher every day, with or without the use of The Body Firm products.
Does Crépe Erase® 2-Step Body Kit just “plump up” my skin?
The Crépe Erase® 2-Step Body Kit is formulated to improve the look of dry, crépey-looking skin, especially on the hands, neck, chest and other age-giveaway zones.
Will the Body Repair Treatment last all day?
Yes, the Body Repair Treatment provides long-lasting 72-hour hydration.
What makes Crépe Erase® 2-Step Body Kit different from other skin care products?
The Crépe Erase® 2-Step Body Kit is designed to treat the look of dry, crépey skin with our exclusive TruFirm® Complex, an exclusive formula made of naturally derived apple, dill and sage extracts that help support structural resilience for visibly firmer, smoother skin.
This breakthrough in skincare science quenches dry skin and helps restore elasticity to thin, fragile, crépey skin. Ultimately, the look of weakened skin is improved and helps restore the resilient “snap back” associated with younger skin. Joining this trio is a unique blend of exclusive moisturizers we call the 12 Super Hydrators. They work in tandem with TruFirm® Complex to protect, repair and hydrate, resulting in visibly younger skin.
